ThorSport Racing is proud to announce Myatt Snider as the new driver at ThorSport Racing in 2018. Just days after announcing the departure of Cody Coughlin, ThorSport Owner, Duke Thorson, confirmed to the media on Monday, naming Myatt Snider as the driver of the #13 Louisiana Hot Sauce Toyota Tundra for the upcoming season. Snider, son of NBC Pit Reporter, Marty Snider, drove for Kyle Busch Motorsports in 2017, running a Partial Schedule in the #51, claiming his best finish at Talladega. Snider will enter his 2nd year in the Trucks but will run for Rookie of the Year, and will work with crew chief Jeff Hensley.
ThorSport Racing announced Friday that Cody Coughlin will not return to the organization in 2018. After finishing 13th in Points in 2017, ThorSport and Coughlin have mutally agreed to part ways prior to the start of the 2018 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Season. Coughlin, who ran for Rookie of the Year in 2017, also confirmed on Social Media that he was without a full time ride for 2018 but does feel confident that something will come up. JEGS also announced they will not return to the organization next season. Duke Thorson, team owner of Thorsport Racing, did confirm that Matt Crafton, Ben Rhodes, and Grant Enfinger will all return to the company in 2018, returning to their respective trucks. No driver or sponsor has been placed for the #13 but Thorson said he feels very confident that they will run four full time teams in 2018
